AGYC is excited to welcome our new Assistant Golf Pro, Kyle Preston.

Kyle has had a lifelong love of golf after starting to play at four years old. While attending Wenatchee High school, he played four years on the varsity golf team. In the summer after his sophomore year he was in a car accident that almost took his life. As he recovered from his many injuries, his main motivation in physical therapy was to play golf during his junior year. Not only did he play, he did not miss a match, and he lost in a playoff at the state tournament by one stroke!

After high school, Kyle attended the Golf Academy of America in Carlsbad, CA, where he earned his AA in Golf Complex Operations and Management. He then worked as an assistant golf pro at Three Lakes Golf Course in Wenatchee for the last six years.

Kyle is currently in level 1 of becoming a Class A PGA Professional.  His teaching experience includes private lessons, group lessons, clinics, player development programs and junior golf. He has been a certified Ping Club Fitter for three years and recently renewed his certification for another three years.

When not working or on the course he can often be found outside or active. He loves to try new hobbies as well as keeping up with old ones such as softball, bowling, hiking, rock climbing and much more.

Kyle says “Alderbrook is a beautiful facility and I couldn’t be more excited about joining the staff. If you have any questions about me feel free to ask. I would love to get a round of golf in with anyone that can stand playing with a lefty.”

Welcome Kyle!
